What is the opportunity:
Join Energy Safety Canada as a Communications Coordinator. Reporting to the Communications Manager, this role is ideal for a proactive self starter with strong capabilities in planning, developing and implementing a variety of marketing and communication initiatives.
What will you do:
- Execute a variety of communications tactics, including email marketing, analytics and reporting.
- Lead content management for ESC’s website and employee intranet, utilizing these digital platforms for stakeholder communication, storytelling, and business development.
- Collaborate in the creation and implementation of communications and marketing plans and schedules ensuring alignment with project needs and adherence to timelines.
- Take a proactive role in planning, coordinating and executing events, overseeing logistics and ensuring seamless execution.
- Lead social media initiatives by generating and reviewing content ideas, optimizing engagement and maintaining a consistent brand voice across platforms.
- Other duties as required.
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, and/or Journalism.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience required; experience in a corporate environment preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Enhanced attention to detail, especially in document formatting and PowerPoint design.
- Willingness to jump in and help with any task, big or small.
