About the Role:
Must be interested in relocation to HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA as this role is Halifax based.
You’re a Copywriter with a passion for bringing brands to life through crafting innovative and compelling creative solutions for clients in our ever-changing world.
You bring a genuine interest of advertising and are a student of everything we do. You discover what our clients’ business is all about and are not afraid to ask questions. You dig into the competition and keep current with what is relevant to the consumer so that we can always find fresh ways to connect with them.
You take a culturally informed approach to writing and have a consumer-first mindset when writing product narratives. You’re able to craft copy deliverables that are clear, engaging and effortless to read.
Responsibilities:
- Bring to life, through the written word, the concept and execution of integrated, cross-channel initiatives
- Understand the needs, motivations, and aspirations of your audiences, so that you can speak to them in the most effective, compelling, and engaging way possible
- Be responsible for daily deliverables in fast-paced environment with lots of client interaction
- Ensure concepts developed by the agency are on-brand, on-strategy, practical and cost-effective to produce
- Assist in the development of creative work for new business pitches and RFPs
- Collaborate with Art Director partner and strategy to develop concepts
- Present work to the Creative Director, Account Services, Strategy team members and clients as needed
- Ensure the creative work of the agency is produced to the highest standards of accuracy and quality control
Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent portfolio of work that demonstrates high-quality copywriting within a variety of marketing campaigns and platform projects.
- Undeniable creative chops: you play a critical role in the conceptual phase of projects, and work seamlessly with your team to deliver winning projects
- Ability to translate an idea effectively and flawlessly across multiple messaging touchpoints
- Strong conceptual craftsmanship – experience in storytelling through various mediums
- Experience in creative ideation to execution for cultural awareness and diversity
- Ability to gracefully handle pressure and meet tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks and opportunities with acute attention to detail
- Excellent time management, organizational, verbal, and written communications skills - comfortable with presenting to groups
